As Liechtenstein's only ski resort, Malbun offers family-friendly, gentle slopes at around 1,600 meters with modern lifts and a ski school, ideal for beginners and families looking to ski at a relaxed pace away from crowded Alpine resorts.

The chairlift carries visitors up to around 2,000 meters in both summer and winter, opening up a grand panoramic view over the entire Rätikon mountain range along with numerous hiking trails and, in winter, additional ski slopes.

In summer, Malbun turns into a hiking paradise with routes to the Fürstensteig, a spectacular, partly secured ridge trail with dramatic drops, as well as gentler family hikes through blooming alpine meadows and small mountain lakes.

Surrounded by the peaks of the Rätikon range, Malbun offers fresh mountain air year-round, clear views into the Swiss and Austrian Alps, and numerous cozy mountain huts for a break with regional cuisine.

The mountain village lies about 15 kilometers east of Vaduz and is reachable via a winding mountain road by car in about 25 minutes or directly from Vaduz by postal bus, making it the country's only year-round accessible mountain resort.
