The reef bay of Sha'ab Samadai is home to a resident pod of spinner dolphins and ranks among the most reliable places in the world to swim with wild dolphins while snorkeling.

The shallow seagrass bay of Abu Dabbab is home to dugongs as well as large sea turtles, which can often be observed up close while snorkeling.
